My name is Connor, and I'm studying at Loyola Marymount University to earn my bachelor's degree in psychology. Soon I will be heading to Boston University to study sports psychology and mental health counseling. I love to learn, and I love sharing what I know with others. I want to help students realize their full academic potential, so I teach using methods that help students develop a strong understanding of subject matter and retain information. My tutoring specialty is standardized test prep. I can help students build test taking skills and strategies for putting together solid essays quickly and recognize the most likely answers in verbal, writing, and reading sections of tests like the GRE, SAT, PSAT, and ACT. I also enjoy helping students with history and psychology, but I'm comfortable with additional subjects such as reading, English, grammar, composition, public speaking, economics, and study skills, and organizational skills. In my free time, I like to play soccer, ski, kayak, attend concerts and music festivals, try new foods, and travel.
