Experience
I retired from classroom teaching in 2007 after 33 years of public education. Since retirement, II have taught at the Junior College level as well as tutored students after school to help them pass their math classes. During my tenure as a teacher, I instructed students on ACT preparation. Those classes met evenings to help refresh concepts for students who had planned to take the ACT test during their junior/senior years. My first "love" is mathematics. I realize not everyone feels the same way about the subject that I do but I enjoy helping students who work hard to understand the material. I work hard to make it a comfortable environment so that maximum teaching and learning can occur. It is a team effort to help the student pass the course.
