I love seeing my students get excited about learning, and enjoy the look on their face when a subject suddenly clicks for them. I like to use different techniques to help my students succeed. Above all, I believe that being patient, having a sense of humor, and thinking outside the box go a long way in our tutoring sessions. I am currently working as a neuroscience research technician, but I love to help students learn. I offer tutoring in Algebra 1-2, Arithmetic, Elementary and Middle School Math, Statistics, Trigonometry, Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Physiology, Psychology, College Essays, Essay Editing, Grammar and Mechanics, Reading, Writing, Mandarin Chinese, Study Skills and Organization, Math, Science, English, Languages, Social Sciences, as well as test prep. I work with students in preparing for SAT Mathematics, Critical Reading, and Verbal.I am a graduate of Carleton College.In my spare time, I love to go hiking, as well as travel to international destinations.
