I am an enthusiastic, lifelong learner with a particular interest in Biology. After completing my bachelor's degree in biology (physiology focus) from the University of Washington, I entered the doctoral program for Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound, where I am currently enrolled. The majority of my coursework is in advanced and honors science courses.Throughout my secondary education, the connection between science and healing motivated me to pursue an educational path where I could make a difference in people's lives. The ability to apply scientific principals toward the betterment of others is really exciting to me. I respect that the learning process is unique to each individual. While some respond to a text book, others make a connection with in-person learning via an instructor. Whatever the learning style of my students, my approach is to adapt to fit the needs of my student, working with them on efficient and proven study techniques, and problem solving skills. My goal is to make certain that they gain a confident grasp of the material and perform at their highest capacity. I believe my enthusiasm for discovery and learning translates to success for my students. I look forward to sharing my joy of knowledge with others.
