Education
I graduated from Central Washington University with a master's in English with an emphasis in Literature. The area I focused on primarily was Victorian British Literature. Prior to graduate school, I received my bachelor's degree in English from Pacific Lutheran University. My final capstone at PLU was focused on the Bronte family which directed me to continue studying Victorian British Literature.
Experience
While I was in graduate school, I worked for the university's writing center for 5 quarters. During my time there, I held mini grammar session and helped create handouts for students. I have also worked for tutor.com as an online tutor. Tutoring has become one of my favorite activities because I like being able to give students the tools they need for future success.

Hobbies
Like everyone, I am always in search of "free time." When I find it, I love to read anything from a classic to the newest Meg Cabot book. I also love to cook, so I am often checking out the latest cookbook for ideas and inspiration. I could, however, do without all the dishes my kitchen adventures create. Another thing I like to do is craft. I knit and try to sew and decorate my planner.
